In Jacksonville Florida, at around 6:50 pm, on 2/8/17, while traveling on business, I was going through the security checkpoint when I witnessed a Mesa Airlines employee giving The TSA a very hard time. He started shouting loudly and claiming he should not have been screened because he worked for the government and for Mesa Airlines. He started shoving his badge in the TSA screeners face. As a customer I was appalled. The TSA were only doing their jobs to keep us safe. I could not believe that an airline that I use would treat anyone with such disrespect. This employee brought discredit on your airline. I wasn't the only person to witness his hideous behavior. This is very disappointing, if Mesa employees treat the TSA workers this way, then he would treat the Mesa passengers with the same disrespect.
Hello ... Just because the person stated that he worked for Mesa Airlines doesn't mean he really does. He could have been someone trying to impersonate an employee to skip screening at TSA. I say this because you said the person said he works for the government too. Mesa Employees don't have time to work two jobs. This seems very suspicious. Please don't judge Mesa Airlines by one person saying they work for Mesa. Please keep your eyes open for any suspicious behavior from individuals when traveling. They may say they are an employee but really aren't. Thank You.
I am the mother of one of your employees, Jennifer Hector. She is out of Dulles. This morning on a first flight out from Portland to Dulles she encountered a lady in severe distress. Her son had been in serious car accident ( ber ) and is in critical condition. The lady mentioned very briefly that she was on her way to a shock/trauma hospital in Baltimore having to take a first class seat. Her husband was trying to get on same flight but Jennifer did not know that until the plane left. She thought about the words 'shock and trauma " while in her jump seat. Then Jennifer approached the lady, and sat with her during the flight. Gave her tissues. She also pleaded with the lady to allow her to personally drive her to Baltimore after their flight. Three times she pleaded with the lady but she would not allow Jennifer to cancel, her next flight to do this one small thing for this mother. After the flight Jennifer was crying her eyes out to her pilot so upset and feeling so guilty that she did not her the husband on the flight too. This is because the other attendant didn't get the paperwork from the gate agent having closed the doors early. This would have given Jennifer the name of this lady. She called the hospital, for any info months lady's son. They can't give her anything by law, and I explained this to,her. She is still trying to get this lady's name so she can check on her and her family. She called a few United numbers and they won't help. You need to know this. Jennifer had just been written up by a fellow passenger on her care of another ill passenger. They review said she was so impressive that she should teach otHers how to be as a flight attendant saying no one else they observed on their 5 United flights could hold a candle to her. That's a quote. Can anyone help Jennifer make contact by getting the first class name of this poor lady ??? Anyone there at Mesa or United?? I know I seem biased as her mother. I am a retire detective and I only report the facts, obvious biased notwithstanding. Thank you in advance for any help, you can giver her. She is still quite distraught that she could not get the husband on this flight, calling me in tears. She is the face of your company. You sit didn't know it . Kathy Hector
