I am out of over a 1000.00 because Instacart would only pay the least amount in the same batch. You know like the multiple orders they put in one batch, but they only reimburse me for one. They always reimburse me for all my personal payments because I lost my Instacart card.
Go under "reimbursement requests" under the "earnings" tab on the dashboard.
Submit it with a picture of your receipt and it should go through pretty quickly.
They've reimbursed me about a $1000.00 of my personal payments when I lost my card for about a week.
They could do more on higher batch payments for a lot of items and distance. I've seen stupid batches for 3 orders for 14.20. I called and they said it was a "glitch" in the system.Anonymous

I never had problems for pay. if I have a problem, I called to help in Instacart help in the app and they helped always. Never pay with your own money. I was sick from March to May 2020 and they didn't say anything and I work again on June 2020. And remember you accept the batch with the amount that you want to win. Only that I have two kids and I need to take care them for this reason when they are visiting with the father I work all the day to night. For a mother, this is an amazing job.Anonymous

I am having the same issue as above being a shopper. Everytime I am being charged significantly more then what I was priced. I was told they are Markup prices but they can not provide any information on their site in regards to markup prices and as far as I can see nothing on their site regarding mark up from instacart. I have the receipts for the stores that show the prices that were charged and they do not compare to what I was charged by instacart. However they say they are not a reseller and this is not thier fee but the after speaking with the stores and looking at the transaction - and my bank statement which reflects the charges are from instacart - these markup fees are being kept by instacart. i would be willing to provide the documentation to anyone who needs for legal proceedingsAnonymous

I worked for instacart for 4 hours, throughly enjoyed the 3 batches I delivered only to wake up the next day to a deactivated account for not delivering an order according to them the next day. I made similar mistake. Paid out of pocket for customer groceries. They declined my reimbursement request and keep telling me to submit the same docs over and over. I didn't get paid for the job either. I didn't get paid for another job also, and when I submitted a request for payment, it was declined with no explanation. Terrible! Terrible! One thing is that FOOD ALLERGIES must be taken seriously. I have celiac disease and I cannot have gluten. I will get very sick for a very long time I will have trouble walking I'll have balance issues and I get terrible migraines for days if I eat gluten. That being said, I placed two orders back to back where I ordered gluten-free bread. I even offered substitutions that were acceptable. Both of these young kids showed up with REGULAR bread. Whatever they felt like grabbing. Unacceptable!
They did not text me or ask so now I have two whole loaves of bread that I cannot eat. If a diabetic asked for a sugar free product is it OK to bring them a product that has sugar? If someone who is severely lactose intolerant asked for a lactose free product, is it OK to bring them product that has lactose?

I have been accused of not delivering. Customers groceries and received an email from Instacart that I was being investigated. I described the customer, her husband and baby girl. Infact after the customers husband brought the groceries in the house he came back outside and gave me a five dollar tip. The customer told Instacart support that I was still there as she was over charged for sports drinks. That part is true. But I met them, they were very kind to me yet, Instacart has been avoiding me. I delivered those groceries. The customer told me she is a shopper. Have been delivering for Instacart since January. She was encouraging to stay with Insacart. She even gave me her number in case I had any trouble out as a Shopper. The GPS took me straight to their home I arrived at 7:25pm and didn't leave until Instacart support team finished talking to her. She her husband and baby girl were outside with me. But I am being investigated. Wow! Well as they investigate me I hope they are investigating her. I did call to file a complaint but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. My story is so similar. 2 days ago I did 2 batches. 3 full service deliveries. The minute I marked the last one delivered they deactivated my account while I was still in the customers driveway talking to her saying I didn't deliver to her. She didn't even contact InstaCart. Its bizarre. Then find out later that I didn't deliver two more orders that I didn't even do or is in my batch history. I had a 5 star rating. I worked 40 hours a week. It was my only job during all this Covid **** and now I am having to get assistance to pay my power bill this week cuz I was working to make that this week. I can prove where I was and took pics that they recieved their orders. I didn't even have time to have accepted 5 batches from 9am to 11:02 am . No way in hell. Where can I look into your lawsuit? Careful there.Tips are added to the customer's bill automatically,before anyone has a chance to change it.Plenty of times I have been burned by shoppers who have picked expired or damaged food,not given me all of my order in their rush to leave,or even left my order at the wrong address with no accountability.Just because a customer can't take back a tip doesn't mean a shopper always gave good service.Anonymous

Keep a daily log of customers adresses names drop off times and pictures..theyre not only screwing with staff but after 10 days my bank has to retrieve my hold moneys from them..theyre absolutely **** to both ends. instacart made up allegations that i stole customer orders also . and i can describe the customers have screen shots that show that i was on location and delivered these groceries. i can also descibe the customers and such and recieved a msg from instacart trust and safety insuring me no actions would be taken and was told the order found . however i woke up and they had terminated me and when i took the safety email to the place it defined i should if a problem arise . they just made notes all over the account making way way more confusing than necessary . and then even a day later after telling me groceries were found the terminated me and held no accountability to the email i was sent to protect me if a problem was to arise . and even worse with all the notes and whole day after i was terminated made up a whole falsified incrimination upon me stating now instead of order being found it says two orders were not delivered or took or stolen and those are grounds . no one will take responsibility or accountability or respond in any mannerism at all.Anonymous

i placed an order before the weekend as we escaped to the lake being essential workers going strong for since end of FEB in our area.. we needed to go and get out... well came home put in a order to have little food for this week, and lets say im connecting the dots for the debit card fraud back to instacart... someone is using my husbands email.. my card to buy groceries in NV for 461.11!!!
hope those **** know it takes my 31 hours to make that kind of money plus they take out taxes so a whole week of work just stolen... eff'd up. they need tougher security.

I just got deactivated yesterday. For not delivering groceries to customer B ..it was a triple full service. Well I did, the customer even said thank you and waived good bye. I'm going to the same thing I was accused yesterday of not delivering a customer's order I did and but I can prove it through my timeline off my Google Maps which I sent them screenshots of so I don't know how this is going to turn out but I've noticed some weird things going on with my tips as well I think they're stealing tips from shoppers every other day my tips are below half but they was the day before which makes no sense whatsoever but I'm keeping track of it if I don't get deactivated and if they deactivate me I have proof that I was doing what I was supposed to do I did my job and perfect so that's another lawsuit.Anonymous

They deactivated me after I tried to reach customer service about me being in the store shopping and my batches being unassigned while I was literally in the store shopping. It caused my deactivation rate to go up and it was not my fault and the hacker even changed my name in the system. I had to talk to several incompetent customer service reps for them to fix that and then they deactivated me and I had a 5 star rating. So unfair. And I put so many miles on my car.Anonymous

Something similar happened to my daughter! She had been with them for nearly a year and her account got deactivated when she realized she forgot to give a customer something she found in the back seat. She contacted instacart to ask for their address and she wanted to get it to the customer. They assured her her account won't be deactivated and told her she had to email the company. She did and was deactivated and they never tried to sort out the issue. Ridiculous.Anonymous

I just got deactivated for an incident that happened apparently 5 days prior. Just says they feel it was in violation part of the theft policy. But I delivered all my orders and even got reviews that day. They didn't tell me anything exact and when I tried to respond to the support email it would not send. The first one was Sam's club and they did not attach the membership card - even after talking to the manager they would not let me in to shop. The chat people that are so not knowing what is going on sent me a picture of my instacart debit after an hour. I sat in Sam's parking lot 2 hrs trying to straighten this out UNPAID
The second one gps took me to the wrong house - I delivered to the wrong house but went back, apologized and brought them to the right place all corrected and the customer was like to big deal.
Third one was liquor - the girl wouldn't answer the door or message but finally took the call - she cussed me out and said she canceled the order and hung up on me. Again chat could not figure out how to cancel these orders.
And they deactivated me for their mistakes and then denied my appeal after sending this exact explanation. So unfair and left me financially in trouble.Anonymous

Never use your own money. I found that out the hard way. Wait for them to figure out what is going on with the card providing. It takes months and add the Covid -19 that will make it take longer.
