Your policy toward Veterans is a disgrace. You must tell your empoyees to talk down to them and embarrasse them on public. It just happened to my husband today at your Salisbury Md. Store. Shame on all of yoy. LOWES treats veterans with great respect and we will not buy any longer at your store.
My husband is a veteran and went to home dept in Salisbury and this lady would not take his veteran I'd. Lowes will. And tell your employee stop talking down to the veteran . Then I call and said they only take active military.i thing veteran active or not should be the same
I wish not to disclose my name, to who it may concern! Ive been shopping a your store for yrs, you just hired two people, that past the drug screening and you hired them in your team, both work at your distribution site. They are drug dealers as well as users, you passion company with a drug free environment. They should not be working at your distribution plant in the Woodville, because they are not drug free, they did just enough to pass your screening to get hired. There names are Georiga Kush and Crystal Kush you just hired presently, please give them another random drug test and you will know that I'm giving you valuable information for a drug free safe environment!
I see so many comments on here about Veterans discounts.
Did you join the Military for a military discount?
NO COMPANY is obligated to give any discount to anyone and by not doing so, says nothing about how they feel about veterans other than they choose not too.
The Home Depot spends literally millions a year helping veterans, just because they don't do it at the checkout counter doesn't mean they don't care about Veterans
I was born at the end of the baby Boom and it is sad to see my generation feel so entitled.
I am a Veteran also, I flash my VA card if I get it I get it if I don't I move on.
Stop feeling so entitled
Thank you for your service but NO ONE owes you anything...
Jacrispy your a company person stop already leave the vets alone get a life

Hello I'm a preschool teacher at Storyland and my class have been planning to setup a small flower garden . we will be using 5 small plastic swimming pools as planters. I would also love any help you could spare a preschool flower garden with a few whimsical ideas for the entire preschool to experience and enjoy. Thanks for your time sincerely Stacie Stubblefield. Not a review only a humble request for donations for a wonderful local preschool.
Home Depot says they support Vetrans but when I asked for my Vetrans discount I was DENIED because I was not Retired from the Army and I am not on active duty, really ? I spent a total of 5 years in the U.S. Army one year of that in a war zone, 3 years active duty and 2 years in the reserves, they say they support Vets but if they really supported Vets they appreciated them then they would correct this injustice.
Hey Lynn, I thank you for your service. Lynn a veteran is a service member who spends more than 180 days on active duty and 1 reserve enlistment contract ( 8 yrs) in any combination. Ask to speak with the manager this should solve the problem. Lynn from what you wrote this sounds like the cashier who has not been properly trained. please provide the location of the home depot so I can also send a letter. Vets small a stick together.
correction: 180 days on active duty or they served in the Reserves or Guard for 1 enlistment contract
(8) yrs. Vets must all stick together.

10% for retired service members or those Veterans with a service connected disability.
Or 1 of 7 holidays where all Veterans are honored
It is usually posted on the counter where you check
They also spend millions a year on Veterans
Jacrispy you should thank these veterans not mock these veterans the only reason you have your freedom is because of them so don't try to correct any of them since obviously you work at that sorry company do something positive and push for 10% for all veterans and also do something with your life
We, too, were denied Veteran discount yesterday. My husband has a Veteran's card that he has used for years at Home Depot. Now it isn't good enough because he wasn't disabled or retired from the military. This is a disgrace to all U.S. veterans. We have spent thousands of dollars at Home Depot but will now do business at Lowe's. They honor ALL VETERANS. Shame on you Home Cheapo!!!!!
HOME DEPOT SOLD MY AUNT $5000 WORTH OF GIFT CARDS FOR $.. SHE IS 84 YEARS OLD . SHE GAVE THE CARD # TO SCAMMER AND THEY CASHED IT. HOME DEPOT WOULD NOT REFUND MY AUNTS $ EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE. STORE MANAGER AT VFW PARKWAY HD HAS BEEN RELOCATED. WHEN I WENT TO THE SAME STORE LAST WEEK THEY WOULD SELL ME $5000 IN HD GIFT CARDS AS THEY STATED IT WAS AGAINST FIRM POLICY
I hope you are more mad at your aunt then home Depot for doing something not so smart.
The aunt was 84 years old you F*k:n moron HD IS WORTHLESS
HD STRAIGHT PIECE OF SH*T COMPANY
Home Depot spends millions on Vets.
Jacrispy get a F*^.ing life
I'm writing in reference to the Home Depot in Fort Gratiot, MI flooring department. I was told they match Menards 11% rebate. I stayed late ordering the Pergo flooring & trim to receive this rebate on my purchase of over $2,400. I received only $8.24 on a few pieces of trim. I called after not receiving the full rebate & was told it was being resubmitted. After weeks again I got back online on the Home Depot rebate chat. Then was told it didn't qualify. I took my complete folder of paperwork into our local Home Depot where I had been told it qualified from salesman. One of the managers stated they would check into it & get back to me. They took a few copies of the information. After a few weeks...again, with no call or email I went back in. At this time they had no information on file that I had even came in the store. Worst customer ever! Tired of lies & no communication. I will cancel my Home Depot card & never shop there again.
Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you're not the worst customer ever.
And I'm sure the one that left the comment "your not the worst customer ever" IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL YOU. But your the type of person that it made you feel good, get some mental help.
In Cathy G's post she stated she was the worst customer ever. I reassured her that I am certain she isn't. Is English your first language? If not, that may explain your lack of understanding a positive comment and your usage of your instead of you're.
