The service absolutely stinks!! Not only did I not receive my most recent order, but after cancelling that order because they were an hour late and I still hadn't heard from the driver, they went and charged my account anyway. I have been emailing & calling their customer service, only to be told that the money was refunded to me successfully. It has not, the only thing done successfully was to charge my account for merchandise never delivered and wasting 3-4 hours of my time.
I have been using Peapod since 2008. I had to stop driving, so this was a God-send. I don't understand why the warehouse in Lake Zurich for the past year, feels they need to send out expired food over and over again. Sending spoiled produce over and over again. I feel your managers are not training people how to shop like they would shop for themselves. People depend on getting their groceries which are priced a little higher than going to a grocery store, without having to expect this. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM????
I absolutely agree. The first couple of orders I received were great! Almost a year later...fruit and vegetables look half dead and meat...you have to freeze immediately or use. Such a disappointment
