I recently had my firearm repaired which only took a few days, but when they sent me the gun back it was not my gun. I contacted them and they said they would fix it and its been over a month and I still have not gotten my gun back because they can't seem to get in contact with the man who got my gun . So a random person has had my firearm for over a month and I have been left without my gun that I had just purchased a few weeks prior to this incident. They have not helped and have left me with little to no information. I would highly recommend buying from a different company. One who cares about their customers and is responsible with their customer's rifles.
I bought my 770 30/06 rifle about 8 years ago and have used it but a few times for hunting. I was informed about a year ago that there is a recall on the trigger safety that cold cause it to shoot when not activated. I was told that they have knowledge and accepted the recall, but have to wait until they finalize the court case on this recall. Thousands have this issue and it seems there will be years before I can get it repaired. Couple hundred dollars for something I can use and they are not in a rush to satisfy a customer or their safety.
Consider buying another product instead of Remington or their off company products. Safety is the ihghest concern, and customer satisfaction should be right under it, not on hold for years.
Do they have a "buy back" policy?
If not they should.
Is it time to bring back the XP 100?

VersaMax 12 gauge shotgun: the operating handle falls off!! What kind of quality if this from an American company? And then the price to replace that 1 3/4" inch piece is almost $50.00 !! Maybe next time I will buy a spaghetti shotgun instead of paying $1300.00 for a gun that falls apart. Take the company out of where it belongs (NY State) and it goes down hill with the workmanship.
